Thank you so much for stopping by at my blog! You asked me for teh string star pattern . I don't know if tehre is a pattern for it. I learned it from Bonnie ( quiltville) In april I am going to visit her and we plannned to make a tutorial from it.
I know that Fons and Porter have a older magazine with a star like this . Maybe this helps you !
I love what you made speicla the red stitchery from sunbonnet sue.
I like how it is so scrappy.
By the way, the Fons & Porter's love of quilting magazine issue that Lucy is talking about is: May June 2004 - they call their quilt Katie's String Star. They pieced is rows instead of insetting diamonds or triangles.
